Client Services Executive, Belfast

G&L Scientific is a specialist provider of consultants to the healthcare industry – each of our client engagements is bespoke, meaning that no week is the same for our global sales team. We provide a high-end, niche offering to our clients, who include many of the top pharmaceutical companies, and they have come to expect an exceptional service from G&L.

We have offices and employees in the UK and multiple locations on both east and west coasts of the US and Canada, Spain and India. Due to the rapid expansion of our international company, we are looking to expand our Client Services team, based in Belfast.

This position in our company will include the following types of duty:

  • Working on out-bound sales projects including creating, executing and following up on mailers, online advertising campaigns and industry journal articles.
  • Following up on warm-leads generated by the wider organisation, and existing contract workforce.
  • Working directly with our clients to discuss their project requirements; liaising with G&L’s technical team to ensure that we are providing bespoke solutions and services to each client.
  • Using online platforms to build our employer brand and engage with new clients.
  • Tracking and recording all sales activity on SalesForce.com
  • Assisting G&L’s technical team in our proposal generation process
  • Sourcing and selecting talent from G&L’s database and network; working closely with our technical team to ensure the talent selected is the strongest match for our clients’ requirements.
  • Presenting our clients with a shortlist of the best available talent for their project work; arranging interviews and negotiating contracts.
  • Ensuring all documentation and processes are in compliance with best practice.
  • Working in a close-knit team, to ensure that the departmental workload is evenly shared and time-sensitive projects are completed.

The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years’ work experience in a customer-facing environment – recruitment or sales. The ability to carry out telephone calls to prospects in a professional manner, using initiative and forward thinking to build ongoing relationships with prospects is very important. A qualification in business, marketing or similar subject would be an advantage. You should have an enthusiastic and pragmatic approach, but also not be afraid of presenting new ideas and methods to get the job done! You should be hungry to generate exciting leads and close business within G&L! The most important thing for G&L, and particularly for this role, is that you are a brilliant ambassador for our company – communication skills (both written and spoken) and customer focus are paramount. You’ll need to be hands-on, proactive, strategic, reactive and most of all – good humoured!
